We started the trip and after four hours, we stopped to have dinner in Pinto, Santiago del Estero.
After that, we continued the trip for seven more hours. Then, we arrived in Rosario, Santa Fé, where we saw the amaizing "Monumento a la Bandera", it is a
monumental complex built near the Paraná River. It was opened on June 20, 1957, the anniversary of the death of Manuel Belgrano, creator of
the Argentine flag. Also, The Monument has three parts: the Tower or mast, 70 metres high, which commemorates the
Revolution of May 1810 and houses Manuel Belgrano's crypt in its base; the
Civic Courtyard, which symbolizes the effort of the organization of the state,
and the Triumphal Propylaeum, representing the Nation as organized after the
1853 Constitution. Under the Propylaeum there is the Honour Room for the Flags
of America, where the flags of all American nations are displayed.
The
monument is on the list of works and sites of patrimonial value of the Town Hall of Rosario.
After that, we had a short city tour around Rosario's city.

Then, we came back to the bus, and continued the trip to Buenos Aires.
After four more hours we arrived at the big city. We went to have lunch at a restaurant near "the Monumental". It's the biggest football stadium in Argentina, and belongs to River Plate, which is one of the most popular football teams in our country. Then, of course we tried to get in, but we couldn't :\
I'm not a River fan! |
Be careful with the cat! |
After sightseeing for a while, we arrived at "La Boca" neighborhood. When we got there, we saw the Riachuelo river. There was a terrible smell :p , because it is very polluted, and the colour of the water is brown! Ew!!! Then we walked through colourful "Caminito", which is a street museum. There are tango dancers and painters.
After this, We came back to the bus, and went to the hotel :D, in San Telmo neighbourhood. Everybody was exhausted ;\ , because of the very long trip and we still had to go to dinner!. Finally, we could go to sleep, at last!
